Our Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Korkut ULUCAN was awarded 'Certificate of Honor', by our Minister of State Mr. Kürşad TÜZMEN, for taking part in the Science Advisory Board and for analyzing the athletic performance and psychogenetic factors of the athletes participating in the Sochi-Giresun organization that open water swimming record was broken.

Within the scope of the project named "320", in which 13 athletes swam uninterruptedly for 1 hour, between Sochi and Giresun in approximately for 6 days, the anxiety-related salivary cortisol analyzes of the athletes were also carried out by Assoc. Dr. N. Şehkar OKTAY from Department of Basic Medical Sciences of our Faculty.
